The Blue Cruise Lifestyle

If you’ve never experienced a blue cruise, here’s a taster of a typical day onboard one of our yachts in the Turkish Mediterranean.

Ali Kasapoğlu

Yacht Captain A native of Üçağız village, our yachts’ home port, Ali grew up next to the sea. The son of a fisherman, he spent his childhood fishing and playing on his father’s boats. Long before the first tourists arrived, his father would take Ali to gather olives from the island, crossing the straits in […]

Seven days between Fethiye and Marmaris

A week-long yacht cruise showcases the variety of this region of Turkey, taking in ancient ruins, peaceful bays, coastal villages, a night in busy Marmaris and a side-trip up the Dalyan river.

Fethiye to Olympos yacht cruise (4 days)

Many groups incorporate their yacht cruise into a longer tour of Turkey, and the Fethiye – Olympos route is ideal for this, showcasing the highlights of this coastline in four days, while avoiding lengthy road trips.

Kas to Kekova yacht cruise (3 days)

This shorter three day cruise will take your yacht around the highlights of Kekova sound, including the famous Sunken city and Simena Castle.

The Kasapoğlu II

Built in 1996, the Kasapoğlu II, like the rest of our yachts, is regularly maintained and modernised. At 20 metres, she is larger than the standard Turkish gulet, thus accommodating the same number of passengers in greater comfort.

Both exterior and interior are finished in wood, with the cabins and other areas furnished and decorated in the Turkish style. Expect to find soft carpets and rugs, plentiful cushions, and cool, tiled bathrooms. A self-contained home from home, she is luxurious by local standards while maintaining a traditional appearance and feel.

The Kasapoğlu III

Manned by a crew of three, the Kasapoglu III is a 23 metre yacht constructed in the Turkish gulet tradition, which is to say she is a two-masted schooner, wide and stable, with plenty of space above and below deck.

Each of the six cabins sleeps two, so that a maximum of twelve guests can be accommodated on any cruise. Every cabin has an en suite bathroom with shower and WC and individual air-conditioning.

The Kasapoğlu V

The captain and his crew of three welcome you aboard the Kasapoğlu V, the largest of the Yachting in Turkey fleet. Although a yacht of this size could comfortably accommodate double the number of guests, we limit the numbers to twelve people per tour. This gives everyone an extra degree of privacy and comfort.

The six double cabins are larger than those on our other two vessels, each boasting a wardrobe, en suite bathroom and the all-important sea view. Two of the cabins have an extra single bed as well as the standard double, useful for couples holidaying with a child or use as a twin cabin.

From Marmaris, a week exploring Datça peninsula

Looking to escape the hubbub of Marmaris? Cruise away on your private yacht for a tour of the most peaceful spots in the region. This itinerary steers away from towns and well-known attractions, spending more of your cruise in secluded nature. A slow-paced tour with plenty of time for swimming or snorkelling.

Remzi Kasapoğlu

Yacht Captain Ali’s older brother, Remzi likewise grew up right next to the sea. Even the daily walk to school sometimes involved water, as the rough path was partly submerged in the sea. With fishing in the family, it was inevitable that Remzi would follow his father’s footsteps and earned his living as a fisherman. […]
